The Coalition to Protect Healthcare in Oklahoma is a collaboration of representatives from healthcare providers, insurance companies, employers, policymakers, and patients across the state.

United by a shared commitment, we are working together to shape and protect healthcare access throughout Oklahoma by advocating for effective healthcare solutions at the state and federal level by amplifying the voices of our fellow Oklahomans.

Our Shared Mission

The Coalition to Protect Healthcare in Oklahoma will provide a united and informed voice across the state for the purpose of advocating for effective solutions at the state and federal levels to ensure healthcare remains accessible for individuals, employers, and families. Together, we can protect and improve healthcare access for Oklahomans – today and for years to come.

What We're Focused On

Our core objective is to support sustainable healthcare access for all Oklahomans, ensuring all individuals have access to comprehensive, timely, and high-quality healthcare, especially in underserved areas.

In pursuit of our core objective, we will engage in:

Advocacy for affordable healthcare:

Advocate for legislation that keeps healthcare costs, including premiums, out-of-pocket expenses, and administrative burdens, reasonable for employers, employees, and patients, including in vulnerable populations.

Collaboration with stakeholders:

Foster collaboration and cooperation between healthcare providers, insurance companies, employers, policymakers, and patients to advance solutions for improving the healthcare system while maintaining fiscal responsibility and improve Oklahoma’s workforce.

Engagement in policy development:

Work with lawmakers at the state and federal levels, providing expertise, data, and perspectives on the impact of healthcare policies on businesses, the economy, and the general public.
